Create Membership Based on Email Login

  1. Go to Avalon > Organisation Module

    • Create a new organization or utilize an existing one.

  1. Go to Avalon > Uplay Content > Partner/Union menu.

    1. Create new or utilize existing partner ID.

    2. Key in the domain name can contain multiple domains & separated by comma (e.g., smrt.com.sg, smrt.com)

    3. Select type = PARTNER.

  1. Create an account in uplay.com.sg LinkPass, and make sure the email matches the above domain name. (LinkPass page: Go to uplay.com.sg > User icon > Setup new account)

    1. Login redirection: User to be redirected according to the company page.

  1. When you access the Organisation page > Staff tab, the employee created via link pass is added to the list.

  1. Open the Member user link in the Staff tab to go to the individual page.

    1. Go to the membership tab, and the membership has been added for that individual

    2. 'Modified by' column is shown as updated by workflow SYS51071

  1. A welcome email is not required.

  2. Summary

    1. Workflow SYS51071 checks the email domain of the user’s profile.

    2. If the email domain is associated with a specific organization’s setup, it will automatically create a membership for that organization.

    3. Example: if the record has an email domain of ntucclub.com.sg, which is associated with the ntuc club membership based on the setup of that organizational record, workflow SYS51071 will activate the membership, even though the membership was set to inactive due to the user’s record remains ‘Active’

  3. You can deactivate this workflow by changing the user status to inactive.
