Catalogue
Product catalogue is a comprehensive list of products or services offered by a business, and serves as a reference for customers to explore available options and make purchasing decisions for similar products and is used internally by sales teams to manage product information and streamline sales processes.
Avalon Catalogue functionality allows users to:
1. Create custom categories only available for the particular catalogue.
Associate the same package with multiple categories in the realm of a catalogue. For example: “2-Hour Bowling Bundle @ Orchid Bowl”. This package can be associated with category “Family Fun” and “Hobbies” as part of a “Summer Holiday” catalogue but in a different catalogue “Christmas Spirit” the same package can be part of new categories such as “Best gifts for friends”, and “Experiences for the whole family”.
Package Categories and Packages can be filtered by a Catalogue, so different pages on the site can display different categories and packages.
Before you start
New catalogues can be created by business when required.
A catalogue is blank by default and details such as categories and packages can be added.
A catalogue can consist of single or multiple categories.
Unique catalogue can be created to serve exclusive groups such as catalogue for MGK, MFK, SMRT etc.
UPlay has a default catalogue (ID 16) where all packages are added.
Newly created packages are automatically added to the default catalogue but not to non-default catalogues.
Packages can be manually added or deleted from a catalogue.
