Creating an organisation is liken to register a company record, other information related to the organisation such as their employees, merchant staff account (for B2B portal access), staff benefits and address can be added.
These tabs are added by default once an organisation record is created. However, not all tabs will be used depending on business requirements or agreements with clients.
Address
Company address, billing address or postal address
Staff
Employees of the organisation that could also be UPlay customers
Merchant Staff
Employees with administrative access to login to Avalon B2B portal and manage their available widgets. Eg: Redeemed tickets, member dashboard etc. No generic account is permitted.
Staff Benefits
Staff perks associated with the organisation. Add benefits in this tab, and all employees listed under the organisation will be
Credit Request Contracts
Only applicable to organisations who have signed credits contracts with UPlay under staff SnR program. To learn more, refer to credits functionality.
Ballot Contracts
Only applicable to organisations who have signed balloting related contracts with UPlay under staff SnR program. To learn more, refer to balloting functionality.
Go to UPlay content > Organisations.
Search for the organisation.
At results section, you can further filter the results by utilizing funnel icon at each column.
Click ID to view contents.
Update field values accordingly.
Click Save to proceed with changes or Cancel to exit without saving.
Once an Organisation/Merchant is created UPlay team can proceed to add Merchant Staff members and Merchant address.
Note: It's essential to add at least one Merchant staff member. This can be a generic member to allow access for Merchant staff to log in to UPlay, access the Scan Tickets screen for ticket redemption, or add new organization members (for entities linked to organizations).
Adding a Merchant Staff member opens the Staff edit screen, where Status, First Name, Last Name, Type, and email address are mandatory fields.
Ensure to select "Merchant Staff" as the Type for the new user.
Organizations can have one or multiple defined addresses, or UPlay staff can opt not to enter an address at all.
Each Merchant staff user can only belong to one organization at a time. The current functionality does not support Merchant staff users being members of multiple organizations simultaneously.
