Package variants
Package variants or booking rates are general rates available to the public, these rates can be viewed by visiting the UPlay website. There could be single or multiple package variants within a package.
This article illustrates how to configure package variants.

Before you start
The same product rates can be added to package variants tab and tier variants tab because different consumer segment will view different rates.
If both package variants and tier variants do not exist, only default price (from package level) will be displayed in the package.
If package variants exist, package variants rates will take precedence over default rate.
both package variants and tier variants exist, tier variants will take precedence over package variants rates.
Add a package variant
In this illustration, we are adding
Navigate to Package > Package variants. .
Click Tools > +New button. A small window will pop up.


Field definition
SKU
Product code (unique)
Category
Product category. Eg-Ticket: Adult, Child, Senior.
Subcategory
Further category sorting. Eg-Ticket: Adult Subcategory: Off-peak Adult, Off-peak Adult & Bundle.
Details *
Description of product. This description is displayed: (a) When customer selected a ticket fromthe package. (b) At checkout page. (c) Printed on consolidated and confirmation emails.
Default price *
Rates offered to customers before promo code
Availability

Available from
Not applicable to UPlay.
Available till
Not applicable to UPlay.
Early bird pricing

Populate values into respective fields.

Click Save to proceed with changes or Cancel to exit without saving.
New package variant is added to tab.

Repeat above steps to add more package variants.
How package variant is displayed in package
The Guests price tier is highlighted for general public and displayed for customers who are not logged in or are non-NTUC members.
General public will not be able to purchase tickets under NTUC Member or Friends of UPlay price tier rates.
