Create entity

There are 2 options to create a base promo code.

Option 1 - Create from new entity

1. Go to UPlay contents > Partners/Unions/Associations.

2. Click Tools icon at right-side and click +New. A new window will pop up.

1. At NTUC Union edit screen, input values into respective fields and select an image.

Is active	Status of the entity, whether it is active or inactive. (a) If checkbox is checked, entity is enabled and available for use. (b) If checkbox is not checked, entity is disabled and unavailable for use.	Checkbox

Accessibility	To configure whether the landing page is to be either hidden from or shown to general public. Single or multiple accessibilities can be added to each entity. (a) If field is blank, landing page can be viewed by anyone. (b) If field is not blank, landing page is viewable by selected entity. Eg: If selected value is AREU, it means only members of union AREU are able to view contents. Function implemented under ASD-51467 Secured landing page, w.e.f. 19 January 2024.	Dropdown
Access Restricted Text	This field is applicable when field Accessibility has selected value(s). Customize a message to those who are not meant to access and/or view page contents.	HTML Editor
Package catalogue	A collection/list of all packages that is meant for the entity. By inputting a catalogue ID, entity employees will view a list of specifically designed packages.	Search
Union icon	Branding image of the entity.	Image
Type *	Type of entity such as Partner, Union or Association. Currently type = Partner is tied to another function (email domain login), which was implemented under Sprint 5-FX ASD-51071, w.e.f. 05 September 2024. If Type = Partner is selected, email domain field has to be populated in order for login to work.	Dropdown
Email domain	This field is applicable with type is selected as Partner. Input email domain(s) related to an organisation so that Avalon can recognize when organisation-related employees login, will auto-assign membership and send welcome email. Welcome email subject	Avalon can send welcome email to all new hires of the entities.	Textbox
Welcome email - CC	Recipients to receive a copy of welcome email. Separate multiple recipients with a comma.	Textbox

1. Click Save to proceed with changes or Cancel to exit without saving.

2. Verify the newly created entity by searching for it.

Option 2 - Clone from existing entity

1. Go to UPlay contents > Partners/Unions/Associations.

2. Input a keyword into Keywords textbox and click Search button.

3. Click Tools icon to expand the menu

4. Click on Clone option, a window with Edit screen will appear.

5. Edit entity field values accordingly.

6. Click Save to proceed with changes or Cancel to exit without saving.

1. Verify the newly cloned entity by searching for it.

Note Only base entity values are cloned. Other info such as content row, banners and files are excluded.
