Adyen
Adyen is a payment gateway vendor that manages payments for e-commerce websites (online) and point of sale (POS over counters).
Objective
For processing all online payments from UPlay, U Live and nEbO websites, as well as, refunds to customers.
API integration was implemented on 15 March 2024 (Sprint 4).
Merchant account
Merchant account is first step of configuration, for the purpose of receiving payout and reconciliation reporting. Each merchant account can be linked to individual bank account or 1 single bank account for all.
NTUC Club finance is the owner for Adyen merchant account management. Any new merchant account must be liaised with or approved by Club finance (responsible to raise request to Adyen support team).

Adyen payment transactions are reconciled with Avalon records using merchant reference (Invoice# + InvoiceEntityID). All transactions are available in Avalon financial transaction report (FTR) and updated in real-time.

Status used in reporting
Transaction fees are calculated by Adyen and available at T+2 days after successful payment. Avalon does not perform any fees calculations.
Transaction fees are updated into Avalon FTR reports, only when respective Adyen statuses have been met. Otherwise, transaction fees related fields are blank.

Processing fee is chargeable at S$0.05 per transaction, for both payments & refunds.
Processing fee is excluded from each transaction fee calculation.
Processing fee is billed to NTUC Club/UPlay separately on monthly basis.
Access to Ayden portal
Ayden portal (or Adyen customer area) is an online dashboard where you can manage and monitor transactions across different channels, merchant accounts or to download reports on transactions and payment activities.
Submit request to Adyen administrator or support team for user account creation.
